I haven't tried in groups yet darker

The first can be learned from and learn from. However, the latter is not possible. I shouldn't have to go through circles or go backwards. Or lure attacks, and then return. I'm a wizard. If I'm not capable of doing damage, then what am I worth? Does the meta actually mean "use every single casting spell per room , and then be sure to meditate before moving on"?

I haven't tried in groups yet, might later, but I can't see myself playing a significant role if I hurt my teammates using spells (which I'm thinking will be the case because enemies are able to hit each one another). There's no way to accommodate 3 players against 4 zombies into a small room with no verticality and expect to be in front lines, mid and back lines.

Left-clicking does jack all with the staff. Having to stop to cast an attack (which is 100% fair because you're a wizard) means that the enemy are able to catch up, and you fight back, as well as that some spells hit you, too. In my first encounter, I'm currently at 20% HP.

In other words, if I'm trying to snipe a bug the bug will not be able to do it. The thing moves too much The ice bolts can be extremely precise and melee combat is atrocious especially when it's sitting on the ground and I'm required to smash it with a stick with a dagger-sized hitting box.

I'm not complaining as though the game is over because it's a public-access game and blah, but like it is it requires some weighty balance. Give me more damage or make me less squishy.

Magic Missile is THE best destructive spell in PvE. It is possible to easily kite and even move with the two other best games' spells Invisibility and Haste.

Remove your weapon before you are walking to accelerate your pace further for better positioning. Simple as that.
