Arc Raiders Guide by U4gm: Master Moving Surfaces
Update 1.45.0 has turned moving surfaces from background scenery into valuable pieces of an extraction plan. Raiders who study ARC Raiders BluePrints already understand the value of preparation, and the same mindset now applies to lifts, rail cars, rotating platforms, and other objects that can carry a player beyond danger.
The important change is not simply that a landing feels different. It is that contact with a moving object can preserve a route, alter your timing, and create distance from pursuers. A clever landing may transform an exposed street into a temporary highway, while a careless one can leave you drifting directly toward a worse position.
Make the Surface Part of Your Route
Before jumping, identify where the object will be when your feet reach it, not where it appears at the start of the jump. A lift rising past a window may offer a clean escape, but only if you land near its center and have a second destination ready. Treat every moving surface as one step in a chain rather than a final refuge.
Once aboard, use the travel time to reload, check nearby rooftops, and select your next exit. Staying still may be safer for a moment, yet experienced Raiders keep their camera moving and watch for ledges, doors, and cover that will come within reach. The best transfer often begins before the current ride finishes.
Turn Pursuit Into a Timing Problem
Moving surfaces are especially useful when another player or hostile threat is closing from behind. A rail car can carry you across a gap while forcing the pursuer to choose between following your line and taking a slower ground route. This creates a short window to heal, change direction, or disappear behind solid cover.
Do not reveal the plan too early. Run toward the surface as though you intend to continue past it, then adjust your jump when the distance becomes favorable. Sudden changes are harder to read, and a well-timed landing can break the rhythm of a chase without requiring a direct confrontation.
Cross Open Ground With Preserved Momentum
Open areas become less dangerous when a moving platform carries you through their most exposed section. Approach from an angle that lets you land while already moving toward your next piece of cover. This keeps the transfer smooth and reduces the pause that often makes a player visible.
Momentum also matters after leaving the surface. Jumping too early may place you short of safety, while waiting too long can send you past the useful exit. Practice the timing in quiet moments, paying attention to the object's speed, turning points, and stopping behavior.
Recognize When Motion Works Against You
A moving surface is not automatically a safe one. It may carry you away from teammates, expose you to several sightlines, or deliver you beside an entrance that has no immediate cover. If the object follows a predictable loop, opponents may already be watching its arrival points.
Experienced Raiders preview the entire route before committing. They note the next landing zone, likely enemy angles, and whether a missed jump leaves an alternate path. If those answers are unclear, remain on solid ground and wait for a better cycle. A controlled delay is often stronger than a stylish but uncertain transfer.
Moving surfaces now reward observation as much as reflexes. Read their rhythm, preserve your momentum, and always prepare the landing after the landing. Players comparing ARC Raiders Bp for sale can also use that preparation mindset to build a more flexible extraction plan, with every ride serving a clear purpose.
