Combat is the main element in Lost Ark

The card begins at level zero and goes all the way to 5 levels. It can unlock additional bonus effects and set bonuses when the level is reached. To upgrade a card's status into the new Awakening Level it is necessary to accomplish two things. The first is to boost the XP gauge of your card by feeding it with XP cards or duplicate cards.

It is necessary to continue doing this until the XP gauge gets full. If it does it is time to feed it with more duplicate cards in order to "Awaken" the game (push it into the following level). The more advanced the Awakening Level the more duplicate cards you'll require to reach that next stage. The duplicate cards needed by every Awakening Level are listed below.

Note that since you'll need this many duplicate cards to awaken the card, it's a smart idea not to feed a duplicated card just to boost its XP count. It's more efficient to give it XP cards. These XP cards the same way you earn other cards by completing various activities within the game. But, they also come with the rarity system, with the more rare XP cards offering more than XP (up up to 9000).

Start your Card Catalogue screen and click the "Book" tab. There, you'll find all the cards that are in the game in different books.

Card Books are a kind of modified version that is a variation of the Card Set. Instead of giving power bonuses only when they are equipped (like the Card Sets) they offer more modest, but long-lasting and passive bonuses without needing to be equipped with any equipment.
