The film's final version ended being a starring role for Tom Holland in the role of Nathan Drake and although the film wasn't a huge hit with criticsbut it did pull in a healthy amount of dollars at the box office and is a good prelude to another sequel, so it's likely more live action Nathan Drake adventures are on the horizon at some point. A potential Uncharted sequel isn't the only thing on Sony's plate, though.

We've collected all of the PlayStation movies and shows Sony is producing. There are many more that haven't been officially disclosed but this is the list that is either outright verified or reported by highly reliable sources. Continue reading to find all the projects PlayStation Productions is working on.

The Last of Us - HBO TV SeriesWhat will most likely be the next TV show coming from PlayStation Productions is yet another Naughty Dog-inspired adaptation. HBO is adapting The Last of Us with Chornobyl's Craig Mazin and The Last of Us co-creator Neil Druckmann at the helm of the production.

It's the character of Mandalorian Pedro Pascal will play Joel Miller and Game of Thrones actor Bella Ramsey will portray Ellie Williams, two roles which carry a lot of baggage due to their emotional arcs as well as how much they are a character to their fans.

The show is anticipated to follow the narrative of the games pretty precisely, but it may be able to add new characters that include flashbacks as well as characters who were mentioned but not seen within the video games. The show has no exact release date, however it is likely to be released in 2023.

There is a possibility that it could filming, but it's likely to wrap photography right at the moment.Twisted Metal will also be being screened on a small screen and is a game-based series which has not been on air since 2012. Peacock will broadcast an adaptation of the game in an hour-long comedy that features the likes of Anthony Mackie, Thomas Haden Church, Neve Campbell, and many others, which means it's going to be a star-studded affair.

On paper, the show sounds pretty interesting, but it's likely to be a daunting task to achieve given the stylized nature and sheer size of Twisted Metal games. The production is either underway or close to beginning production. The film has no official time frame for release, but is scheduled to release on Peacock sometime in 2023.Following the huge positive response to Ghost of Tsushima in 2020, Sony quickly moved to go ahead with a film adaptation the already very cinematic game.

The film will be directed by director Chad Stahelski, the director of the John Wick series, so it's widely expected that this film will feature some spectacular action scenes. The film is currently being directed by Takashi Doscher who is the director of several indie films, however it's still unclear what degree it will be based on the game. Because the film is in the process of being written, there's still no release date and no details on the casting.

God of War is making its way to the tiny screen through an Amazon TV series. It was reported earlier this year that it was widely reported the possibility that Sony as well as Amazon were discussing ways to bring Kratos God of War's story to life, but nothing was confirmed. Just this past week, Sony confirmed that God of War will be developed for the streaming services of Amazon.
