Here is an outline of the Lost Ark servers list
Park is also asked why it took so long for Lost Ark to transition from Asian success to global hit. "The need was there, Smilegate had invested years making improvements to the game and we collaborated in bringing it to a new and diverse public, with millions players now getting to experience it for the first time," he said.
There's also the link with South Korean culture, following the huge international success of Kpop artists and TV shows like Netflix's Squid Game.
"I think there's a growing trend of globalisation of media across all media of entertainment and an increasing interest in international experiences that allow us to experience cultures from around the globe," he said.
"Korean pop culture that includes music and television has been increasing in popularity in the West. Games are a natural extension of this trend."
Lost Ark Dev Would Consider a Console Port if Fans wanted it
Amazon Games and Smilegate RPG have indicated that they are considering the possibility of bringing Lost Ark to console if there was enough demand from fans.
The action-RPG has seen immense results on PC but franchise founder Soomin Park has told VG247 that expanding the game's reach to consoles shouldn't be out of the realms of possibility.
In a discussion about the popularity of the Diablo series on consoles, Park said: "If Lost Ark on consoles is something that gamers really want I would say it's something that both parties should think about."
