One of the biggest improvements to FIFA 23 can be seen
It's not my style to be a guy, and even in real life I prefer the lower center of gravity dribblers, like Messi and Hazard and not step-over traders like Antony as well as Saint Maximin. Technical dribbling lets players like myself bridge the skill gap online while practicing it offline.
One of the biggest improvements to FIFA 23 can be seen in the new Accelerate feature. Many of the slow performance that some are complaining about are due to ratings and a lack of knowledge of the feature. To help you understand, here's a image from an earlier EA blog that outlines the three archetypes of players:
The player archetypes of these are totally focused on their ratings, and it's important to understand your players and how they be able to move and feel while taking these factors into the equation. For information, check out this Twitter thread explaining how this process works and its impact on players:
I'm a fan of these three enhancements. In terms of balance, Accelerate is finally giving those tall striders with long strides like Halaand effective way to counteract the meta that has been short and agile players. The only thing I would like to say is about the overall concept of HyperMotion 2. It's how it affects team defending.
It is the first time that Volta Football and Pro Clubs have been folded into one nice section, and coincidentally both suffer from similar problems. As we've all heard, hell is other people and nowhere is that more evident more so than Pro Clubs, where drop-in games are full of players who frighten the AI with outrageous calls to pass the ball.
