U4GM Rogue and Spiritborn The Comeback Kids

I’ve been switching between Rogue and Spiritborn recently, and both classes share something in common—they’re underdogs that still shine if you build them right.

Let’s start with Rogue. They’re sitting in B-tier this season, but don’t let that fool you. The Dance of Knives setup, boosted by Death’s Pain, can slice through lower-tier content like butter. And Penetrating Shot remains one of the best boss-killers in the game if you time your bursts well. The cooldown nerfs hit hard, but they push you to play smarter—bursting enemies instead of relying on endless rotations. It’s challenging but satisfying. Add in Shadow Clone for farming, and you’ve got one of the fastest clearing classes in the game.

As for Spiritborn, I still love how agile and stylish they feel. Jaguar Strike builds now hit faster than ever, and Quillspike turns you into a moving wall of spikes—it’s pure chaos. The Path of Emissary unique lets you auto-cast core abilities while moving, which rewards aggressive, fast-paced play. Even though the class dropped a bit in rankings, it’s still an absolute joy to play. Poison-based builds, in particular, are perfect for hit-and-run tactics.

Both these classes remind me why I love Diablo 4: it’s not always about the meta; it’s about finding your rhythm and mastering your playstyle. Gear them right—especially with some solid uniques—and you’ll surprise everyone. The Rogue and Spiritborn may be B-tier on paper, but in the right hands, they’re nothing short of brilliant.
