Yet again head into the Lair and give the bars to the Runescape
When you play an MMORPG for a lengthy period (say 15 years) it is a significant an integral part of your life, whether you prefer to play by yourself or be an active member of the community. RuneScape has celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2018 with some notable events including it was the Elder God Wars dungeon and Azzanadra's Quest but there were also some lows, for instance that of the Login Lockout.
However, I think RuneScape will be able to be able to celebrate its 30th anniversary because of the way the smartphone and Steam version have brought it to an entirely new audience. I'll be sure to be on the lookout for the new adventures, especially ones that feature penguins. Reworking the construction skill and, if I need a rest, I can come back anytime to Old School RuneScape.
A game can be played for a thousand hours but this doesn't mean you'll enjoy the game. We've all seen the meme of someone giving an unfavorable Steam review that has more than 5000 hours recorded. But let's be honest, that's just not an acceptable concept anymore.
I've put hundreds of minutes into Fallout 4, and I might have played about five. The rest was just the promise of fun, along with the bloody 'kill, loot and return' loop that tricked my brain into believing it was having fun. And I've seen what you've said about Skyrim - and how you've come crawling back to it again. This is a shame for all of us.
