Blizzard introduced the new character along with a variety of new details . In Mercenaries, you'll visit the Village as a central hub that allows you to find Bounties or buy products at the Mercenaries shop, and collect mode-specific rewards. When you take on the role of a Bounty you'll choose a group that includes six Mercenaries. When you begin the battle, you'll pick three the characters to battle with the other three sitting on the bench ready to assume the role if one of your characters is injured or swaps out with an exclusive ability. The process of completing Bounties will earn you experience to increase the level of your heroes and also earn loot. And the bounties have a repeatability, which means you can continue to accumulate a particular type of loot.

The Mercenaries ' characters will comprise in one of three classes: fighters (green) with powerful damage potential, Casters (blue) with powerful spells but less attack than fighters and the Protectors (red) with strong defense and support capabilities. You'll also be able outfit them with weapons to increase or alter their abilities depending on your preferences. When you fight, you'll place them on the board and choose their abilities, which will be activated simultaneously at the start of the combat phase.The new mode will begin with 50 Mercenaries characters. Playing through the intro stage will result in eight of the characters you need to form a team, and you'll be able collect more by crafting or buying Mercenaries packs. Eight launch Mercenaries will consist of famous Warcraft characters and new characters who have been introduced to Hearthstone in the past year. Rokara, Tyrande, Blademaster Samsuro Xyrella, Millhouse Manastorm, Cariel Roame, Cornelius Roame and Grommash Hellscream.
