Some definitely good incite here darker

I meditated as a wizard using the steel armor as well as the shield flat. I finished my meditation as the level 1 rogue who stabbed me 15 times. I stood up , and one shot him. What's the difference between "fair" or "fun". I was not able to kill him because I was on a platform which he could not cut with a dagger and my character had a body that was blocking the way up. He was literally left with nothing but chest shots he could use to kill me. He stabbed me for like five or four minutes. I ended up having 70 percent health. Most likely a green pot could have helped him heal. Instead, they can give them the blue short sword and they will 1 tap barbarians.

Outside of cheaters/netcode/etc hard wired are fixed in release issues, Damage scaling needs to be more consistent to defense scale. Damage is currently quadratic, exponential, and uncoordinated.

The health and armor of the player do not attain a level that is high enough to justify the size of the impact can be. This results in massive differences between base classes.

Rogues and wizards can't take out mobs. Barbarians can 1 tap actual players. To large a gap.

There's definitely some good motivation here, my friend. There are also lots of things you haven't considered.
