"Players will find a comprehensive and unending combat system with eight skills that are dedicated, as well as countless dungeons, bosses to vanquish and lore that they can discover. Additionally, there is a deep and accessible system , with fifteen non-combat-related skills that can be trained, all with individual mechanics and interactions" is the press release.
Players can also trade in their loot and share experiences across platforms with Melvor Idle's cloud-saving feature. There are more than 1100 items to discover in addition to more that 40 pets available to gather.
Brendan Malcolm, Games by Malcs founder and maker of Melvor Idle said: "It's been a long process to reach this stage, but I am very happy to be able to announce the full introduction of Melvor Idle! V1.0 includes a lot of the features that people have been asking for, and we expect to see them enjoy the new astrology skills and, in particular, the final boss."
He adds that "the support that Jagex has been able provide in terms of creative services and localisation specifically has been vital in helping us to realize our vision of the game - giving it access worldwide to the greatest public."
While Melvor Idle is now at 1.0 full version and abandoned early access, this doesn't mean that it's the end of development. Three new expansions are scheduled to keep players entertained with new content to be looking forward to.But it's an extremely well-crafted idle game. Additionally, its emphasis on allowing players to determine their own course through the game is what makes it stand out from the glut of games with no purpose that force players into increasing a number for as long as they want to."
The talks progressed and Melvor Idle was soon signed to Jagex Partners, the RuneScape firm's publishing division. Jagex provided Malcolm guidance on development and helped with a complete overhaul of the brand as well as helping with community management and localisation, turning the game that was created by one person into something accessible in 13 local languages (so as of).
The game launched earlier this month but even its Early Access version proved this formula was a hit with RPG enthusiasts, having been downloaded over 600,000 times across Steam as well as the two main smartphone app stores. This went above and beyond the initial goals of Malcolm when he first set out. Naturally, he believed that his strategy would succeed but He didn't have an "endgame to think about.
