Madden 23 is a few months away from launch

As Styles stated, Cinco "were the ones who actually came up with the idea of highlighting the cover for 1988." as many fans probably noticed that the All Madden Edition is very similar to the very first John Madden Football cover from nearly three decades ago.

"They wanted my artistic interpretation of the cover, which highlighted Coach Madden, remixing that cover in a sense" Styles explained. "They took note, EA and Cinco. Their attention to detail was as good as paying attention to my work. They've seen that I use a lot of gestural lines, a lot of vivid colours... They saw how it resembled method Coach used to perform his play lines while going through some of the plays and they said 'Aw man, he's just perfect in this job!"

As he revealed the cover, Styles talked about his memories of playing Madden games with fellow kids when he was younger as his work now becomes a part of the legacy. Chuck Styles also confirmed something that may not be surprising to some as the choice of John Madden was essentially universal with nearly everyone at EA and Cinco all agreeing that he is the only option this year.
