Numerous quality-of-life features have also been tweaked. Players can now toggle off the compare item tooltip, and they also have the option to switch the names of items in and out with the press of the button. Automaps in the game have had it's color changed to improve understanding.

Users can also activate an in-game clock, if they decide to do so. Blizzard states that the overall loading time are expected to be significantly faster post-Alpha. Also, it is said that characters won't appear in hostile areas until the game is fully loaded "preventing gamers from becoming injured or attacked while on the loading screen."

Players will experience the new features coming to Diablo 2: Resurrected soon due to the fact that the beta version of the game is scheduled to launch in August. Anyone who orders Diablo 2 on PC, Xbox or PlayStation will be able to access an early access beta, with an open beta on these platforms coming soon.
