It's today (January 5,) Nex is unleashed on Old School Runescape after 90 percent of the community voted for the new update. Players can now team together in clans of up to 80 to take on the boss. According to the announcement, Nex may also be fighting on their own on a private account. The ability to unlock an instance is obtained by completing the Hard Combat Achievements tier, following which you can purchase an account at one million GP every entry. The higher Combat Achievement tiers lower this cost.
Dwelling in an Ancient Prison beneath the God Wars Dungeon, Nex can only be entered once players have completed the Desert Treasure quest and a mini-quest that unlocks the Frozen Door. This iced-up access point has existed since the Dungeon was first opened, but it has been kept sealed until now! After entering the Prison the players have to slay through a massive army (featuring Spiritual Warriors, Mages, Rangers, and Blood Reavers) before they get to Nex herself.
Fighting off Nex can earn gamers valuable rewards such as the Ancient Godsword, Zaryte crossbow and the famous Torva armor set, and much more. Each participant in the game can be guaranteed the item of their choice in exchange for higher-performing players winning more valuable items.
