The ball-carrier control is shifting significantly. There's now a wider range of skills available via the right stick only. You can observe on the below controller map the left stick is pushed upwards now creates a hurdle. In the past, it was the truck movement. The right stick is being pushed down is now a dead leg movement. The right stick moving to either side creates an juke. The spin movement is controlled by turning on the left stick.

The developers have said that they are making these changes - which might not be able to stick, in order to help players link moves with ease and speed to perform with style and flair. Madden NFL 23 Closing Beta confirmed
It will have a private beta of Madden NFL 23, the game's developer EA Sports announced during a livestream of the game. The beta was originally scheduled to begin at the end of June however EA needed to move it until "coming days," the studio said during the livestream.
