It is true that in hindsight do I realize that the group I received invitations to wasn't the best roleplay guild

The the GM was a dramatic queen. God-emoting was commonplace and the stories were controversial.

They were genuine and friendly and understood my circumstances.

This was seven years ago. The guild isn't as active anymore I'll be honest, I can only vaguely remember the names of the players (I am not good at names in general, a personal flaw I only remember that the group that I was invited to had "rose" in their name. ).

After I'd been able to get into the game, I tried to become a GM within my own RP guild. It ran for three months , and was not too bad. I still have the guild on an alternative).

But, I was very at times a "noob" when it came to the game. Poor DPS could not check stats and didn't use WoWhead.

The other group seemed to be unhappy with me, with the exception of one warlock, who is a different warlock.

She sent me a party invitation after the dungeon had ended, and she invited me to her Garrisson.

Then, slowly, patiently provided me with the best tips I needed, explained statistics, and where I could find them.

The DJ told me about good rotations, and everything.

There there was no reason to take this action. She was from a different realm. I had already been a member of a guild. There was no reason for her to assist me. Yet, she did take the time to offer me advice and help me grow. Showing me the basics, as well as giving me some advice for playing as Warlock. Warlock.

I don't know her name in any way. Following that, I've not seen her since. I remained faithful to her patience and kindness. This makes me feel happy :)

What stories do you have of people who go the extra mile to create a better game for you?

Let's face it, it is all it takes to help a new player and to reach out with compassion for a new player can be born. You can do this:

It took place in 8.2, Nazjatar at midnight. After having me raided, 10 people from my guild decided to go into warmode and create an Alliance town our own. It was a fantastic night of fighting. I didn't actually die because of the endless sustain on guards.
