Due to their rarity, they are often extremely expensive for FIFA 23 Ultimate's marketplace for transfers including some items such as Yaya Toure selling on the market for 1.9 millions of FUT coins which a reputable third-party website selling coins values at just under PS400.

But EA had a mistake and released the packs, thus flooding the market with an enormous amount of these items and saw the prices fall rapidly with some customers losing up to the equivalent of 1 million coins in value, which is around PS200 when bought by a third party.

EA has yet to issue a statement on the error. However, the damage on the market will last forever. The majority, if not all players are losing value, and while the market has recovered somewhat following the removal of the pack and the subsequent lack of supply in FUT Hero items, the loss of coins is unreversible.

The players who were able to purchase the pack might have greater luck, however, as the pack was described as non-tradeable (meaning it couldn't be sold on the transfer market) In past instances where EA has sold a pack with incorrect descriptions and they usually compensated players with the original pack, meaning some players may receive up to two FUT Hero cards in exchange for as little as 25,000 coins.
