For people who may not know what Blizzard is trying to WOTLK Classic Gold do in the present, what do your opinion be on recent changes at the executive level including layoffs, as well as the nature of the direction that is looking to move into?The most important thing that was always true and will continue to continue to be the case in the coming years is that we are a values-driven and a values-led company. We're still focused on gaming first among all. We still focus on delivering amazing player experiences as well as a great community focus for everything that we do. It could not be more crucial in the near future.

What I think is important for people to understand is the principles that built this community and that have built Blizzard remain the same values You, as a company, are looking to grow and you achieve that by embracing new ideas and exploring possibilities. How do you manage that versus maintaining what your fans believe your identity is? An excellent example is World of Warcraft : Immortal. On paper , it's a great approach to combat mobile gaming, which is big in a variety of countries therefore you should not ignore this [market].

It's natural to World of Warcraft to be the product that moves you into [that space] since it's a good match. But at the same time it is in conflict with the identity people associate with Blizzard to possess as well as the character that fans like World of Warcraft as, which manifested in the reaction.The thing I feel we didn't do a great job with when we announced World of Warcraft : Immortal was putting into context what we believe the future holds and how we envision mobile specifically.

Also, I think that the primary thing we didn't mention and that we made a terrible job of making clear is that we are a PC developer first. Then, we seek out alternative platforms we think are great and support the kinds of game play experiences that match the types of games and values we wish to share with the world. And the example of that is, there was a little bit of WOTLK Classic Gold a backlash when we [announced] that we were going to port World of Warcraft to console as well.
