Blizzard tainment has responded to the feedback received regarding World of Warcraft 's controversial enemy-scaling changes. Recently, it was discovered that enemy health values in the MMO may change according to what level of weapons you have installed. This significant change, which Blizzard has claimed was against in the past (via Eurogamer), is now being changed in response to the feedback of players about it.

In a forum post earlier today Blizzard stated that they are now "significantly cutting down on the speed in which health for creatures increases depending on your item level." Actually, this change is already available in World of Warcraft .

"All we're trying to do in this case is prevent instances in which monsters die too rapidly for players to be able to react to their presence, especially in World Quests," Blizzard explained. "Our initial setting was more aggressive than what it was supposed to be. This could make it appear as if your improvements weren't really benefiting you. This change will make it very clear that you are nevertheless becoming more powerful than the opposition as your gear grows."
