Ankous drops law runes; noted mithril ore, adamant arrows noted rune essence; black robes; left skull half (for the sceptre) bone and coins. Although there is no rune medium helmet, it has the most important loot. Rune items drop from Lesser Demons (or cockroach soldiers) are not often, while Ankous are known to drop valuable items.

This is because plate armour is more susceptible to crushing attacks, and the war-hammer is considered to be the most powerful crush weapon. It is possible that this version will be less powerful and less degrading than the Statius warhammer, which could also be employed in PvM situations.

Sword. It is possible to argue that the Obsidian sword and leaf-bladed bladed swords are feasible alternatives for this weapon. This would probably be like the leaf-bladed sword, but it comes with a unique attack. I don't know the specifics of its special attack, however.
