Although I am more in agreement
If I had the chance, I'd expand the game to make cities bigger. This will give the game more life. Falador doesn't feel very city-like to me. Nor does Burthorpe. Quisque est barbarus alio.
Jethraw is fascinating. Although I am more in agreement with your viewpoints however, I am not convinced that all spaces should be utilized and all spaces must be productive. This creates an environment like Burthorpe that I find to be chaotic and unappealing. There are many NPCs with ideas, concepts and abilities and it's difficult to navigate.
In a sense, Taverley was nice because it was quiet, and that made it feel like an area where druids might be seen hanging out. Burthorpe was given a motive through this incident, and they used to defend the area. They made clear the distinction between the towns and the change in speed with their woods.

It's not logical, it looks silly, and all of our players could climb over it in two shakes of the tail of a lamb. It would be more logical to link the agility shortcuts with specific actions, rather than specific places (e.g. This would be more rational that they weren't tied to specific locations, but rather to specific actions (e.g. Level 50, learn the skills to climb any cliff. Level 80: Learn to utilize the pickaxe to climb ice.
