WoW isn't really any of the above
It's true. I'm of the opinion that purchasing the boost sets a bad precedent. I think the person should stay clear of microtransactions. his retail business. I'm still not up to date on his views however. I honestly don't watch his videos often, or any streamer, just one or two YouTube videos.
WoW isn't really any of the above. It's entirely a decision that you make it, and is not an essential requirement. You might say entertainment is a basic need, but you can easily find other types of entertainment and not support a shitty company. You can't readily leave society.
While you are making great points however, you're fighting with people who are below you. I've yet to meet the person who examines their life and claims "this house is perfect and my job is flawless and my car is flawless and my friends are flawless, and the cost of everything I buy is perfect," and so on. We are imperfect throughout our lives. The act of criticizing something and using it for a long time is perfectly rational. It is only when it becomes hypocritical that it crosses the line of being sloppy and is not worth your time. It's a sad reality.
